RULES

Below you will find a list of rules which should help everyone have a great game of golf.

Etiquette
To preserve the tradition of the game of golf, players should always practice good golf etiquette before, during and after their round. To maintain the quality of the course and to let our fellow golfers enjoy their game please adhere to the following:
– No buggies or trolleys on tees, bunkers, aprons or greens.
– Keep buggies within the buggy paths.
– Repair all divots and pitch marks.
– Rake the bunker.

Handicap Certificates
Handicap Certificates are compulsory for all good quality courses in Spain and will be requested, if you do not have one please let us know and we can help you to get one or you can contact your club golf professional who can advise you, remember No handicap Certificate means No Golf.

The majority of courses require a maximum handicap for:
Ladies: 36
Men: 28

Although some courses insist on lower handicaps of which we can advise.

Dress Code
– Golf shoes with soft spikes are compulsory.
– Socks must be worn.
– Collared shirts must be worn.
– Tailored shorts or trousers must be worn, skirts (Ladies).
– No denim, sleeveless shirts or any non recognized golf attire to be worn.

Play
– Check in at the course must be at least 30 minutes before tee off time, however we will have you at the course at least one hour before allowing you time to warm up and have some refreshments.
– During busy periods when necessary groups of two may be teamed up, to make up a 4-ball by the course marshal.
– Course marshals are representatives of the club management and their instructions must be respected at all times.
– Players must make a conscious effort to keep up with the players in front as to avoid slow play.
– Please make yourself aware of the local rules of the course before you begin play.
