La Cala Norte, Sur and Europa
Location: Mijas Par: 73, 72and 71 respectively Distance: 6187 metres (6766 yards), 5966 metres (6525 yards) and 6014 metres (6577 yards) La Cala offers three spectacular and exiting courses, Norte, Sur and the new Europa. La Cala Norte is one of the Costa del Sol’s most difficult courses, located in mountains and uneven terrain, with elevated tees and inclined fairways. La Cala Sur and Europa are slightly easier, but still demand precision due to its sloping terrain and thick rough.

Los Naranjos Golf Club
Location: Puerto Banus Par: 72 Distance: 6437 metres (7040 yards) One of the most prestigious courses on the Costa del Sol, Los Naranjos is renowned for its level terrain and sheer playability whatever your handicap. Designed by Robert Trent Jones and set in an orange grove, the course features large undulating greens, many elevated tees and an abundance of water hazards.

Santana Golf & Country Club
Location: Mijas Par: 72 Distance: 6203 metres (6784 yards) A magnificent, entertaining and testing course with wide, well defined fairways on level terrain. Each hole is designed to provide a continuous challenge to the golfer. Set in a former avocado plantation, Santana features a large variety of designs between holes, numerous water hazards and well protected greens.

Santa Clara
Location: Marbella Par: 71 Distance: 5558 metres (6077 yards) Opened in 2001, Santa Clara is a classic Course of Distinction, with fine manicured fairways and large greens. Ideal for players of all levels, the course is mainly flat although it rises steeply on the 8th hole and provides lovely views of the Mediterranean from the 9th.

Santa Maria Golf & Country Club
Location: Marbella Par: 70 Distance: 5586 metres (6109 yards) A highly playable, beautiful championship course, Santa Maria boasts wide fairways in excellent condition, and a good mix of long, short, open and tight holes. The course traces the contours of a valley and borders a forest. The variable terrain includes raised tees, a waterfall and a lake.

Cabopino Club de Golf
Location: Marbella Par: 71 Distance: 5170 metres (5654 yards) A much sought after short course, Cabopino is designed to test accuracy rather than power and will challenge golfers of all abilities. The course features pine skirted fairways, large greens in excellent condition, numerous lakes and beautiful sea views.

Calanova Golf Club
Location: Mijas Par: Distance: Calanova Golf Club is situated in the Mijas golf valley, between the sea and the Mijas mountains. Greens have an average area above 500 sqm. Players will find them very exciting due to an extraordinary shaping work. This characteristic will allow a lot of pin positions, from the very simple to the most difficult ones. Tees are spread in different platforms, providing the players the possibility of playing the course with a huge variety of distances. This number of platforms will keep tees always in excellent conditions.
The clubhouse offers privileged views from the terraces towards the ocean and the “Sierra de Mijas”. In short, it is a golf course with a great personality, in a unique location, and which satisfies the highest demands of the experienced player, while being friendly to the style of play of the average player.

Los Lagos and Los Olivos at Mijas Golf
Location: Mijas Par: 70 and 71 respectively Distance: 5840 metres (6387 yards) and 6367 metres (6963 yards) respectively Known for its outstanding courses and friendly atmosphere, Mijas Golf is one of Europe’s most popular golf complexes. The courses, Los Lagos and Los Olivos, are relatively flat, with little rough and plenty of water. Los Lagos has wide fairways, numerous lakes and many trees protecting the greens. Los Olivos has smaller greens and is well protected by bunkers. The strategically placed olive trees lining the fairways of Los Olivos demand strong, straight driving.

Alhaurin Golf
Location: Alhaurin el Grande Par: 72 Distance: 6221 metres (6803 yards) Designed by Seve Ballesteros, Alhaurin Golf is a beautiful, challenging course sited on hilly terrain with wild growing rough and numerous strategically placed bunkers and water hazards. The complex features a short 18 hole course for juniors, a nine-hole par 3 course and an equestrian centre.

Lauro Golf
Location: Alhaurin de la Torre Par: 72 Distance: 6085 metres (6655 yards) Lauro Golf is a highly playable, relatively flat parkland-style course situated inland at 300 metres above sea level. Holes are named after famous bullfighters and feature numerous water hazards and fairways lined with olive trees. A spectacular third loop of nine holes offers spectacular views.

Miraflores Golf
Location: Mijas Par: 70 Distance: 5190 metres (5676 yards) A good test for all abilities, Miraflores is a scenic, friendly course with many challenging and interesting holes and spectacular views of the countryside down to the sea. The course is well looked after and features a lake and protective moat.

Parador Malaga del Golf
Location: Malaga Par: 72 Distance: 6204 metres (6785 yards) The Costa del Sol’s oldest course, Malaga del Golf is a very playable and easy to walk. Designed by Tom Simpson, famous for his course layouts at Turnberry and Muirfield, the course is part links with seawater lagoons and part parkland, with wide fairways lined with mature trees.
